Classroom Activities:

November is ending and we are gearing up for a great December! I promise I will try to be better at updating this blog! I'm sorry parents! Thank-you for all of your support this month and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Language Arts:

  • Letters Zz and Xx
  • Sight words we have learned so far: a, and, am, at, by, be, he, I, in, is, it, my, me, of, she, the, to, we, you
  • Recognizing periods, exclamation marks, and question marks at the end of sentences and what each means
  • writing and illustrating
  • including detaisl in illustrations and writing
  • Extracting details from illustrations in books
  • Predicting story lines by the title and the illustrations.
  • Why farmers use scarecrows, and what they look like.
  • Reading predictable texts (Ex "Sam has a _______")
  • Writing names using a capital letter at the beginning and the rest, lower case
